Sledding part 1

We went sledding yesteday. Connor and Jakob joined us and we had a blast! They didn't particulary like walking up the hill but who can blame them. That hill was huge and slippery. They seemed to really enjoy it. Deacon would giggle the whole way down. Can't wait to do it again.

Deacon

Side note: Tyler took the above photo. Not bad, huh?

Deacon is getting in almost all his teeth and it has been horrible. He really does not handle teething well at all. The past week, we have not gone to bed past midnight and have been up four - five times after that. Oops, I said, we when I meant to say Joel. I get way too frustrated with it so I get him maybe once or twice and Joel has him the rest of the time. I'm not getting any sleep thanks to a screaming baby, but at least I'm not the one up with him. Good thing I have such a great hubby! Anyway, Hylands teething tablets have been a life-saver. I bought some yesterday and last night, I only had to get him once. (That's right, I was a good wife and let Joel get a full night's sleep) I really cannot wait for these teeth to come in, but until then I'm keeping a supply of these teething tablets on hand.

Holiday Parade

What a silly boy that Jakob is! Connor, Jakob, and their parents braved the cold with us.
On Saturday, we bundled up the kids and took them to see the Holiday parade. After 5 years of living up here in the bitter cold, I still cannot get over how much work is involved in going outside when it is so cold out. It wasn't as cold as last year, but it was still pretty darn cold. I think it was around 25 degrees out. Snow pants, snow boots, mittens, hats for two boys makes for a lot of work. Plus keeping track off all this when they take it all off. It's crazy. It's times like this, that I miss the 50 degrees we'd have down South :) I'm not sure if Heather has her pictures up yet, but if she doesn't, she will soon. Check her blog out for more pictures of the boys.

Santa Claus is coming to Town!

We took Ty to see Santa Claus last Thursday night. He was at WSU. Ty had no problem going up to him and telling him wanted he wanted for Christmas. Monster Trucks! I happen to have it on very good authority that he will be getting those this year ;)
Deke didn't want to have anything to do with him. We tried to get Deke on his lap and he just screamed.
