Congratulations to Meghan and George

Meghan being walked down the aisle by her brother

This church was so beautiful. My sis-in-law, Melanie got some awesome pictures that I hope she shares with me soon. These were the best I could do. It was a beautiful ceremony and we are all wishing them the best.

Wedding Day

Papa and Ty getting out some pre-wedding jitters and preparing for the festivties later.
Deke was not happy to be all dressed up.
Getting ready to walk down the aisle. Are they not the cutest?
Walking down the aisle.
They did such an awesome job. I was really worried about Deacon being able to do it, but he did and he did awesome! He was throwing such a fit right before the wedding. The wedding took place at 2 and he had fallen asleep in the car ride there. We let him sleep as long as we could, but eventually we had to wake him and he was GRUMPY! He didn't want anybody to talk to him or look at him and he just cried and cried and I thought for sure he would not be walking down that aisle. But he snapped out of it, minutes before it was time. He really wanted to walk down that aisle! And when I suggested he not do it, he really got upset. Both boys were super cute and did a great job.

Halloween Pictures

It's been awhile since I've blogged. We've been very busy here and we will continue to be very busy over the next few weeks. On Saturday, we take the 18 hour trip to Texas where the boys will be in Uncle George's wedding. I'll have a ton to blog about after that trip! The boys really enjoyed Halloween and raked in the candy. I took half of what they got to work. There is just no way they are going to go through all of it, although they would love to try.

Happy Birthday, David

Today was David's birthday party. He turns 2 on Monday. I'm pretty sure a good time was had by all. All the kids enjoyed playing in the leaves. Heather took Tyler and another friend to a parade today. They came home with a TON of candy. Just what we need before Halloween. Deacon must have thought so too because he went into the pantry to try to get some candy and ended up tipping half of it into the garbage. I was super ticked, but really they probably don't need that much candy. Okay, I was really mad because I was planning on helping myself to that candy and I'm pretty sure that most of the good stuff is what went in the garbage. Oh, he really tries my patience most days, but then he gives you one of his hugs and a kiss and makes it all better.

I love how some of these turned out. Kelly did such an awesome job and I am so very grateful.

Family Photos

On Saturday, we made an attempt at getting some good family photos. Our good friend, Kelly took the shots and I know we have some funny faces in them, but I love them. We could not get Tyler to give a decent smile to save our lives and Deke would look almost anywhere but at the camera. These photos crack me up and in my opinion truly capture the Kelner family. I can hardly wait to get a few of these framed!

Sweet Ty

Tyler can be such a sweet little boy sometimes. Last night, we watched Anastasia and as we were watching it Joel asked Ty if I was as pretty as Anastasia. I thought that was a big mistake. He's not old enough to understand how much it will hurt when he says no, I'm not as pretty. He surprised me though, he must be old enough to understand after all and his response was "Mommy's the prettiest of everybody." Awwwhhh, but the best compliment came much later. He gave me a big hug and said. "You're the best mommy." This compliment meant the most to me.
On Thursday, I took the boys to get their haircut and then we went to Target. While at Target, I did something to my back and was in a lot of pain by the time we got home. So much pain, that I didn't sleep a wink all night. Got a lot of movie watching in that I normally don't have time for though. I decided not to go to work on Friday since I was in pain and to top it off exhausted as well. I went to see Dr. Wooley Friday morning for him to fix my back. He did a good job, but the muscles that were all knotted up are still a little sore. When I got home from seeing Dr. Wooley, I smelled gas in the house. So I got the dogs outside and in the van and called Joel. He, in turn, called the gas company and they came out. We did indeed have a gas leak and they got it all fixed. I find it funny how things work out sometimes. If I hadn't been home that day, the gas would have built up in the house until around 4 which is when I would have got home with the boys. Coincidence or providence?
