Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas! The boys were so excited to see what Santa brought them. Ty really loved the batman cave that the boys have to share. So far so good, but if it gets bad, it'll go in the basement for a little while. Deke loved the balls and Ty loved his monster trucks!

Christmas Eve

We spent the morning playing in some pretty slushy snow. Joel got the driveway shoveled and the boys and I played. I hope Ty's not eating any yellow snow. The kids loves to eat snow. Apparently so does Manny.

Daycare Christmas Program

The daycare put on a wonderful Christmas program last night. Ty was super excited and did an excellent job. He'd wave at us and grin and he was one of the few that would do the sign languages to one of the songs. Deacon was supposed to just walk through as an angel, but as soon as he set eyes on us, he started crying. The bottom picture was taken maybe 30 seconds after the top one. What a difference being in Daddy's arms can make. Acutally, he was still all tears until the camera was pointed at him. The tears stopped and he said "Cheese". The kid is such a ham! Does he not make an absoluty adorable angel?

Church Christmas Program

Tyler's Sunday school class did a little Christmas program Sunday night. They sang "Away in a Manger" Ty was dressed like a shepherd. It was so funny because for most of the song, Ty would not turn around. He had his back to the audience, looking at the baby in the manger. At the end of this program, everbody lit candles and sang "Silent Night." It was so special to be able to light Ty's candle and watch him gaze in wonder at all the candles. I love candlelight services. Deacon turned into a little stinker before this so Joel had to take him out. As you can see Deke really enjoyed the cookies afterwards. He had chocolate all over his hands and face and then decided to play peek-a-boo.

Ty and Deke

I love Deke's haircut! Ty's too of course. These two are just too precious. Tomorrow I'll have photos of Ty's Christmas programs. We've had two of them in the last two days. Sunday we had one at the church and tonight we had one at the daycare. They really are too cute at this age.

Haircuts

Deacon got his first haircut today. Doesn't he look handsome! (minus the pizza) He wasn't too thrilled at first, but once they gave him candy he was much more cooperative. Ty did excellent as usual. I love how handsome he looks when he gets his haircut.

Sledding

I took Ty sledding today. I found a much better place and I wish Deacon could have come with us as well. Next time, we'll have to get our friends Jakob and Connor to come too. It's in the WE neighborhood. Great hill that's not too difficult to climb up. Ty never once complained about it and we went up and down several times. He was not ready to leave, but he managed to get snow in his boots and his socks were socked so I called it quits. We went today and bought him some much better snow boots with some money that our parents sent us for Christmas. They're spiderman so they're really cool!
